Terms of service
Last updated 23 September 2026
These are the rules for using TurtleScene. They explain what you can expect from us, what we expect from you, and how paid plans work. Please read them; if anything is unclear, ask us.
1.Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Turtle Techsai (Nagpur, Maharashtra, India), which owns and operates TurtleScene. They cover the TurtleScene website, app and shared demo pages (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these terms and our privacy policy.
If you use the Service for a company or other organisation, you confirm that you can accept these terms for it, and “you” includes that organisation. You must be at least 18 to use the Service.
2.The Service
TurtleScene turns screen recordings, screenshots and documents into product content: interactive demos, narrated videos, social cuts, captions, images, articles and posts. We improve the Service all the time, which means features can change, and some may be labelled beta or early access. Beta features are provided as they are and may change or be withdrawn.
3.Your account
- Give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password safe and don't share your login. Each person who uses the Service needs their own account.
- You are responsible for what happens in your account and workspace, including what your teammates do.
- Tell us straight away at contact@turtletechsai.com if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.
4.Plans, fees and payment
- Plans. The Free plan costs nothing. Paid plans, their prices and their limits are listed on our pricing page. Allowances such as recordings per month reset each billing month and don't roll over.
- What counts as a recording. Each new screen recording, or story started from a brief or document, counts once when you create it, and that covers the first demo or story video made from it with every format, cut and article of that output. Each further demo or story video made from the same stored recording counts once more. Demos made from screenshots don't count.
- Billing. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance, as you choose, and renew automatically until you cancel. Yearly plans cost 20% less than twelve monthly payments; their allowances still reset every month. Payments are processed by Razorpay, and by paying you also agree to Razorpay's terms. Customers outside India are billed in US dollars at the listed price. Customers in India are billed in Indian rupees at the rupee price plus 18% GST. The total is shown before you pay.
- Changing plans. Moving to a bigger plan takes effect straight away, and you're charged the prorated difference for the rest of the billing period. Moving to a smaller plan takes effect at the end of the billing period. To switch between monthly and yearly billing, cancel and subscribe again when your current period ends. Some payment methods, such as UPI, can't switch plans directly; for those, cancel and subscribe again.
- Changes to prices. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice before a price change affects you. It applies from your next billing month after that notice.
- Late or failed payment. If a payment fails and isn't sorted out within 14 days of our reminder, we may move your workspace to the Free plan or suspend paid features.
- Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing, or by emailing contact@turtletechsai.com. Your plan stays active until the end of the month or year you've paid for, and your workspace then moves to the Free plan.
- Refunds. Fees are generally non-refundable. The cases where we do refund, and how, are in our cancellation and refund policy.
5.Your content
“Your content” means what you upload or create in the Service: recordings, screenshots, documents, text, audio, and the demos, videos and other material made from them. You own your content.
You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, process, adapt and display your content only as needed to run the Service for you, including sending it to the AI providers named in our privacy policy. This licence ends when your content is deleted from the Service, except for copies in backups that expire on their normal cycle.
You are responsible for your content. In particular, you confirm that:
- you have the rights you need to everything you record or upload, including other people's software, logos and text that appear on screen;
- where your content includes personal data (for example, customer details visible in a recording, or answers to a lead form), you have a lawful basis to use it, have told people what they need to know, and follow the data protection laws that apply to you;
- if you give us login details for a web app so that TurtleScene can explore it, you are allowed to use that app and to let us sign in to it for you.
6.AI-generated output
The Service uses AI to write scripts and tooltips, place hotspots, generate voices and design scenes. AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete, and similar output may be produced for other customers. Review everything before you publish it; you are responsible for how you use it. As between you and us, you own the output generated from your content. We don't use your content to train AI models.
7.Acceptable use
Don't use the Service to:
- break the law, or create or share content that is illegal, deceptive, defamatory, hateful or sexually explicit;
- infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
- impersonate a person or company, or present a product as one it isn't;
- record or share passwords, payment card numbers, health data or other sensitive data that isn't yours to share;
- upload malware, or try to break into, overload, scrape or disrupt the Service or other users' accounts;
- get around plan limits, for example by opening several free accounts;
- copy, reverse engineer or resell the Service, or use it to build a competing product, unless we've agreed in writing;
- send spam or other unsolicited messages using lead data collected through the Service.
We may remove content or restrict access that we reasonably believe breaks these rules. Where we can, we'll tell you first.
9.Other services
The Service can connect to services run by others, such as Google sign-in, Slack, HubSpot and webhooks you set up. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to how they handle data, and we aren't responsible for them.
10.Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design and the TurtleScene name and logo, belongs to Turtle Techsai and its licensors. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it under these terms. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them freely, without any obligation to you.
11.Suspension and closing your account
You can stop using the Service at any time. To close your account and delete your data, email contact@turtletechsai.com from the address on your account. Download anything you want to keep first.
We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if you don't pay, if the law requires it, or if your use puts the Service or other users at risk. Where we reasonably can, we'll warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem and export your content.
After an account is closed, we delete its data as described in our privacy policy. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as fees owed, disclaimers, liability and governing law) still apply.
12.Disclaimers
We work hard to keep TurtleScene reliable, but the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we don't promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that AI output will be accurate, or that it will meet every need you have, and we exclude implied warranties such as fitness for a particular purpose.
13.Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows:
- neither you nor we are liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from these terms or the Service;
- our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose and US$100.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as liability for fraud.
14.Indemnity
You will defend and compensate Turtle Techsai for claims, losses and reasonable costs brought by third parties that arise from your content, or from your breaking these terms or the law.
15.Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If a dispute comes up, please email us first; we'll try to resolve it informally within 30 days. If we can't, the courts in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India have exclusive jurisdiction.
16.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the Service changes. The date at the top shows when they last changed. For material changes, we'll give you at least 15 days' notice by email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, you can close your account.
17.General
- These terms, together with the privacy policy and any order or invoice we agree with you, are the whole agreement between us about the Service.
- If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.
- If we don't enforce a right straight away, we haven't given it up.
- You can't transfer these terms without our written agreement. We may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
- Neither of us is responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
- We send notices to the email address on your account. You can send notices to us at contact@turtletechsai.com.
