TurtleScene vs Clueso
Both turn a rough screen recording into a narrated video and a written guide. Clueso goes deeper on documentation and editing, with AI avatars, more languages and agents that update videos. TurtleScene adds a clickable demo with lead capture from the same recording, and cuts that follow each click.
Clueso is an AI video and documentation tool; its homepage says it "transforms raw screen recordings into polished product videos and step-by-step documentation". It rewrites the script, replaces your voice with an AI voiceover, adds auto-zooms and captions, and writes a how-to article with automatic screenshots. It also turns slide decks and PDFs into video, and on Enterprise offers agents that record and update videos.[1][3][2][5]
TurtleScene is a release-day demo kit. You record a flow once in the browser (no extension) or upload a video, and it makes a narrated Studio-style video and a clickable demo from the same recording, then the 9:16 and 1:1 cuts, a highlight, GIF, thumbnail, captions, a help article and translated versions.
What each makes, and where.
Every Clueso fact links to the page it came from. "n/s" means their public pages don't say; it doesn't mean no.
An honest split
- Documentation matters as much as the video: article guidelines set once, an article co-pilot, a screenshot editor and export to Rich Text, Markdown or HTML.
- You want AI avatars, a very large voice library, or translation into 40+ languages on every plan.
- You want agents that record and update videos as you ship, voice cloning or SAML SSO (all Enterprise).
- You want a clickable demo prospects can try, made from the same recording as the narrated video.
- You want lead forms that deliver to HubSpot, Slack or a webhook, and a custom domain (Studio plan and up).
- You need separate 9:16 and 1:1 cuts framed on each click, a highlight and a GIF with every video, on every plan.
- You'd rather pay in rupees (₹2,499 a month and up, plus GST).

Something else? Email contact@turtletechsai.com or book a working session.
Is TurtleScene a Clueso alternative?
Partly. Both make a narrated video and a step-by-step article from a recording. Choose TurtleScene if you also need a clickable demo with lead capture and click-following social cuts from the same take. If documentation depth, avatars, 40+ languages or auto-updating agents matter most, Clueso covers those and TurtleScene does not.
Can I bring an existing recording?
Yes. Upload an MP4, WebM or MOV and TurtleScene detects the clicks, writes the narration and makes the clickable demo and the formats from it.
How did you check Clueso's features?
From Clueso's own public pages and plan comparison, read on 29 September 2026 and listed under Sources. Prices and plan limits are copied from the wording on its pricing page. Where those pages don't say, the table says "not stated" rather than guessing. Tell us if something has changed and we'll update the page.
How is TurtleScene priced?
Per workspace, not per seat: Free, then Starter $29, Studio $79 and Team $199 a month, each with a monthly number of recordings and every format included. Viewers are free.
