Workspace settings
Rename your workspace, find its slug and plan, switch between workspaces and create a new one.
A workspace holds everything your team makes in TurtleScene: recordings, demos, story videos, your brand, voice settings and product brain. The Settings page is where you name the workspace and see its plan. The workspace switcher at the top of the sidebar is where you move between workspaces and create new ones.
To open the page, click Settings in the sidebar, under Configure.
Rename your workspace
- On the Workspace card, edit Workspace name.
- Click Save changes. "Saved." appears next to the button.
The name is shown to teammates and on shared demos, so use your company or product name.
Find your slug and plan
The Workspace card also shows:
- Slug: the short name in every dashboard address, as in
turtlescene.xyz/dashboard/your-slug. It is set when the workspace is created and you can't edit it here. To change it, get in touch. - Plan: the plan this workspace is on. Each workspace has its own plan.
Manage your plan
The Plan & billing card shows your current plan and how many AI recordings it includes each month. Click Manage plan to change your plan. See Billing & invoices and Plans, credits & limits.
Set the narration voice
The Voice & narration card sets the default narrator for demo and story voiceovers, plus the pronunciation dictionary. Individual demos and stories can override the voice and tone. See Voices & pronunciation.
Other workspace settings
Workspace-wide settings are spread over a few pages in the sidebar's Configure group:
- Product brain: what TurtleScene knows about your product. See Product brain.
- Brand & player: logo, player colour and default music. See Brand & player.
- Team: who can access the workspace. See Members & roles.
- Plan & billing: your plan and payment. See Billing & invoices.
Switch workspaces
If you belong to more than one workspace, for example your own and one you were invited to, you can move between them from the sidebar.
- Click the workspace name at the top of the sidebar. It shows the current workspace and its plan.
- Choose another workspace from the list. The current one has a tick.
You stay on the same page in the new workspace. For example, switching while on Brand & player opens the other workspace's Brand & player.
Create another workspace
Multiple workspaces are available on the Team plan. Each workspace has its own plan.
Everyone can have one workspace of their own. To own more, at least one of your workspaces must be on the Team plan. Being invited to someone else's workspace doesn't count towards this, so you can join as many as you're invited to.
- Click the workspace name at the top of the sidebar.
- Click New workspace.
- Type a Workspace name and click Create.
The new workspace opens straight away, empty and with its own brand, voice, product brain, team and plan. It starts on the Free plan with its own billing, so upgrade it separately if it needs paid features. Its slug is made from the name you typed, plus a short suffix.
If you don't have a Team workspace yet, a message under the name box explains that you need to upgrade. Upgrade in Plan & billing, then try again.
Use separate workspaces when you make demos for separate products or clients, each with its own brand. For several people working on the same product, invite them to one workspace instead. See Members & roles.
